Think libraries are just for school children and homeless schizophrenics? Well think again! Especially if you live in a place called Downtown Tacoma. Yes friend, The Tacoma Public Library system is pretty god damn awesome. Where else can you go to find out-of-print books on your favorite 19th century political cartoonist--Mr. Thomas Nast? Or perhaps find an obscure publication about obsolete model railroad circuitry? Oh sure you could argue "Who gives a crap about those things?" or "Who actually etches their own circuit board designs anymore?" Well, instead of just asking yourself those questions go to the library and SEE FOR YOURSELF! You can even start leaving messages for those people. Why do you think yellow-sticky-notes were invented? Think of it as notes in a bottle. Only the bottle is a book, and the ocean is a sea of knowledge (assuming of course you're in the non-fiction section).
