Ryan Anderson! How goes it? I like your website, I'll have to slap together one of those DIY propane foundries someday, maybe when I get older and have kids. Kids love propane. Have you thought about submitting an article to MAKE magazine? That seems like the perfect project for them.
I plan on spending March down in Seattle so maybe we can get together and catch up. I added you to the JUMP Society mailing list so you'll probably be hearing from me again soon.. though in a less personal format.Best,
And a merry belated Christmas to you as well. I mostly finished my Mendenhall glacier drawing, but as it has been giving to my brother for Christmas, I have not a copy to send to you, but I think I will yet get one. It turned out mostly ok save it be the smudged sky and a incomplete foreground that looked a little sad, you'll see. I shall perhaps draw yet again as it was fun. I made an unsuccessful attempt at making an organ pipe. We are remolding the living room and I have done some plaster moldings and such. that's all for now.Brian Crapo
I am still in CA, although I live in Berkeley. I think you'd really enjoy living in the east bay area. I've long since sold the beemer, but I did manage to buy a house, which is more interesting. I still work for Tellme Networks Inc although I'm a manager now and not so much a computer geek.
Here's my group's burning man project from 2003:

If you do think you might want to go, let me know. I'll happily introduce you to the rest of the camp. We're known to take in strays.Dan Lennon
Hi Ryan and Darcy!
I think it has been something like another 2 years since I last talked to Darcy. I happened upon the site about a year ago and love getting to see little bits of your lives. Just wanted to finally write and say "hi". Lots of news to share. Hoping to get an email for Darcy. Happy New Year! - Calley
other_goals: Survive the next four months of work. Be a great wife and mom.
other_accomp: 1. Traveling to Peru for ministry/school.
2. Waiting for the "One" - almost married the wrong guy once.
3. Finally getting pregnant. I've always wanted to be a mom.
other_evil: Wow! Great question. I don't believe so.
other_emo: Pretty happy.
I hope this portends good luck for the Anderson clan:
This morning as I parted the drapes to look out over the landscape - was a strange scene. The sun must have cleared the Cascades; but Seattle and environs were still in shadow as were the near Olympics, But standing out in all its glaciated glory was the eponymous Mt. Anderson. Which is several tens of miles further west into the Olympic massif. This phenomenon has happened once before, but is rare - and rather ephemeral, as soon the clouds rolled in in preparation for more rain.
We talked with Di on her birthday. and Dee yesterday..no particular news. I printed the photos I took Dec 26, none were great. I do have one of Alex and his latest squeeze, Sarah, which I shall send to Di and RBA since the others have met her.
Alex is about to take off for around the world London to Tokyo with stops enroute for M/S.

IN OTHER NEWS: HFW employees will be on Oregon hiatus this upcoming three (3) day weekend honoring the memory of a great American, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who reminds us: "Nonviolence is the answer to the crucial political and moral questions of our time; the need for mankind to overcome oppression and violence without resorting to oppression and violence. Mankind must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love."
